Aglianico del Vulture DOCG - Red Wine

The Drude was the name given by the Piedmontese troops to the women of the robbers. This wine is made in honor of their courage. Made from grapes 100% Aglianico del Vulture, is the only Aglianico del Vulture DOCG to be aged for two years in large oak barrels, after a mandatory aging period of at least 12 months in wooden containers and at least 12 months in bottle, zero barrels.

The Drude shows a beautiful ruby red with bright edge. Big nose, magmatic and deep with a nice highlight ferrous; noble vegetable tones, then come stun tones of black berries (blueberry, blackberry and currant). The stop in the glass leaves give off a faint marine recall. Great ability to evolve in the glass with great complexity. In boca states with strength and substance with a succession of returns in retronasal exciting, excellent acidity that ensures long life and supports this behemoth in balance. Long and accurate. About 5,000 bottles produced from limestone, clay and magmoso of volcanic origin, fermented in steel at a controlled temperature, aged in oak barrels for at least two years. It goes well with cheese, roasted dishes.
