Castello di Venosa
At the center of Venosa stands the magnificent castle built by the Aragonese in 1470. The building, which resembles the Angevin Naples, has a regular aspect has a square, cylindrical corner towers and is surrounded by a wide moat . Laghi di Monticchio
Located at the south western aquifer of Mount Vulture, occupy the craters of the old volcano. While communicating with each other, the lakes have a different color: the Little Lake has a greenish the Great Lake olive green.
The two lakes are located within the Regional Natural Reserve of Lake Small Monticchio and are surrounded by several woods of pines, firs, chestnuts and beeches. Castello di Melfi

I Sassi di Matera
The Sassi of Matera is a unique example in the world of rock settlement . I'm a city fully carved in the rock , a set of caves superimposed on each other. Since the dawn of civilization until the twentieth century, in the Sassi, man has always lived in the cave. The caves have changed shape, they have evolved by adapting to esigense of their inhabitants, but have always distinguished the existence of Matera.
